We are looking for fit, young Support Workers with clear spoken and written English to support with children with disabilities. We are currently looking for Support Workers willing to work in two locations, primarily in-home in Eltham and occasionally at our Respite Facility in Officer.

We are Armytage Childrens Retreat, we provide Respite [STA] on a small farm in Officer, Victoria along with In Home Care/Community Participation. We are looking for some new superstar support workers to join our quickly growing team. We exclusively support children and young people, we specialise in working with individuals with high behaviours of concern and intensive support needs.

The role is supporting children in their everyday tasks (personal care, cooking, assisting with emotional regulation) along with general cleaning and engaging in activities. The participant we are currently looking for supports for has the following interests:

- Star Wars
- Warhammer
- Magic the Gathering
- History (Especially Military History)
- Rollerblading - Bonus if you can rollerblade with them
- LOVES Animals, especially horses

We are looking for staff who have a great understanding of Autism and PDA, are able to stay calm in stressful situations, have a calm/laid back demeanour, are reliable and willing to work afternoons/weekends. You will also need a current Victorian Drivers Licence along with your own car & insurances as transportation of the participant will sometimes be required.

Pay: $31.76 - $50.06 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 38 per week
