The purpose of this role is to provide administration support to the Claims Operations Manager and wider Life and Casualty division, assisting to manage operational processes and internal and external client relationships.

This will be a **permanent** position commencing **from August** based in the **Sydney** office, with flexibility to work from home.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist with the administrative requirements for the Claims Operations Manager and Manager’s delegated across the Life and Casualty division
- Effective meeting management including timely completion and circulation of agendas, minutes, performance packs, appropriate room bookings, catering, and follow-up of outstanding actions
- Organise department Reward & Recognition activities in line with entertainment budget as required
- Maintaining an effective filing/archiving system to ensure business management documentation and personnel records and documents are suitably stored in accordance with records management policies and procedures and confidentiality/privacy requirements and are readily available electronically
- Liaise with ServiceDesk, Building Services and Reception to address any requests, new employee onboarding requirements or issues identified by team members and ensure active follow-up until resolution
- Coordinate the preparation of the data and development of monthly and quarterly performance reports
- Maintain department financial process in accordance with procedures
- Provide expertise and support for internal initiatives and change management
- Provide a range of administrative and support services and functions which may include timely organisation of travel bookings, accommodation and itineraries within budget and in line with EML policy

**ABOUT YOU**
- Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products including intermediate to advanced skill level of MS Word and MS Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability dealing with sensitive and confidential issues
- Demonstrated organisational, planning, time management and coordination skills
