With a dedicated team of industry professionals worldwide providing innovative freight and logistics solutions to their loyal and varied customers, this successful multinational forwarder is a force to be reckoned with.

Predominantly focussing on import seafreight operations however with some cross over to import airfreight, this position is responsible for facilitating the transport and shipment of import consignments from origin to destination.

Duties will include:

- Carry out import workflow processes in accordance with management directive, customer instructions, SOPs and specified requirements.
- Compiling, completing, and verifying required documentation in accordance with company policy and procedure and external body regulations.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers, and service providers both locally and overseas.
- Regular liaison with airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, co-loaders and customers, problem solving as issues arise.
- Plan and prioritize Import shipments from the Import Workbench in order to achieve milestone requirements, designated KPIs and deadlines.
- Support the Senior Team Lead & Manager, Freight Forwarding with day-to-day activities, and other reasonable tasks and projects as required.

To be considered for this position, applicants should have minimum 12 months recent experience within the freight forwarding industry, excellent communication skills, positive professional attitude, and a desire to continue learning. Experience with Cargowise software preferred.
