**About the client**

Privately owned Australian freight forwarding business with national presence and international footprint specialising in general and special project cargo from all over the world ion and out of Australia. Office of 6 staff in an organsation with over 50 staff with a list of loyal blue chip clients that have been with the business from the beginning.

**About the role**

Hands on air freight role covering international bookings and routing, as well as import operations duties before passing over to cartage/transport team. General Cargo at times, but mainly special project cargo with unique supply chain requirements in how the product moves into the country and to the client. Development and training provided to upskill and develop yourself into an all round forwarding specialist.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Import air freight operations end to end (no cartage)
- Invoicing
- Cargo automation
- Liaising with clients, lines and overseas offices for bookings
- International routing and quoting of cargo
- Liaising with warehouse and internal departments

**Skills & Experience**
- Freight Forwarding experience
- Import Air freight background
- Cargowise/CW1 advantageous
- Project or out of gauge cargo experience advantagous
- Eager to improve and up-skill yourself
- International Air routing and operations understanding
