Our client is a global software and technology provider to the Financial Services sector delivering market leading products to enable their clients commercial success.

Leading a team of six you will define the strategy and roadmap on the use of web based technologies and design which support all of their current and future web frontend products. These products are in the hands of their clients and hence you will work closely with, and guide, the delivery and sales teams on all current product development and POC’s in the pipeline. This is an enterprise team supporting a global agile delivery and engineering capability both on and offshore.

Other responsibilities will include:

- Lead and mentor a team of UI engineers managing the design system development and associated librairies
- Facilitate UI practice meets and take the lead on POC builds
- Help drive the digital product strategy and support strategic initiatives with new and existing clients
- Liaise with global development teams and help drive the delivery of best practice design and standards
- Advocate and introduce new and emerging technologies and design principles to the business

This is a high profile role in a progressive organisation where you will need to have excellent leadership and communication skills, whilst being passionate about all thigs digital and frontend product related.
