Landscape Gardener

**Job description**

**Suitable applicants will have the following experience**:
At least Certificate III in Landscape Construction and 3 years’ experience in landscaping or a related field or trade. Knowledge in Paving, tiling, carpentry, irrigation and horticulture is essential.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ability to read, prepare and interpret building plans, including selection of appropriate materials and plants, scheduling of construction works
- Installation of pre-fabricated structures and pergolas, including set-out and preparation for surface finishes such as gravel, concrete, paving, cobbling and tiling.
- Work on other hard-scape items such as fencing, trellises, walls, outdoor kitchens and barbeques, firepits, water features and bespoke garden furniture
- Preparation of planting areas and growing sites, importation of appropriate soils and fertilisers and soft-scaping with trees, bushes, underplanting, flowers and bulbs
- Preparation for turf areas, installation of turf and artificial turf
- Installation of irrigation systems including pumps and controllers, testing, maintenance and repairs

Good communication skills written, interpersonal and verbal

Basic computer and paper work skills.

A safety-first approach to ensure the well-being of yourself, clients and the team. Willing and able to keep up with the physical demands of a gardening role

Current Australian Drivers License with no restrictions (restrictions include L and E plates, international drivers licenses);
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing to apply;
Current Provide First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency (or willing to complete);
Construction Induction White Card
