About the Role
Supporting clients to live an active lifestyle and participate in their community through the delivery of a range of person-centred programs.
Work to behavior support plans by utilising positive behavior strategies.
Assist and support clients with personal and hygiene care.
Maintenance of progress notes and record-keeping
Participating in fun and creative activities such as arts and crafts, music, outdoor sports and outings in the community
About you
Similar to our clients, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. This role is fulfilling but can be tough, requiring someone resilient both physically and emotionally. We’re after people that have a good heart, with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of people with disability and have similar values to ours. However, it does help if you have:
Flexibility to work multiple shifts a day including, early mornings, late nights, weekends and public holidays
Ability to support others with personal and hygiene care - and happy for this to be part of your job
Current Australian driver's license
Current First Aid and CPR certificate
Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
High levels of enthusiasm, initiative and a positive attitude while acting with integrity, honesty and respect
