Peter Sheppard Footwear is Australia's leading footwear retailer, successfully specialising in quality European footwear for 50 years. The family business is renowned for their exceptional customer service experience as well as an extensive product range catering for every foot, which has seen them build a large and loyal customer base over the years.

To help ensure we continue to deliver a great customer experience by assisting our sales team with the management of our stock, we're searching for an enthusiastic and organised **Stockperson** to join our Brisbane store team.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The main purpose of this role will be to oversee the day to day running of the stockroom and ensure that all stock is received, labelled accurately, transferred and organised in a timely manner, making it effortless for our retail teams to locate items for our treasured customers

Other **Key Responsibilities** include:

- Receiving and dispatching of stock (for store inventory and customer orders)
- Planning the stockroom for deliveries of stock; moving stock and arranging stockroom accordingly
- Quality control (pair checks)
- Putting stock away into fixtures
- Stock Transfers
- Entering new stock/transfers into the system
- Liaising with other stores and Head Office to locate stock for customers, transfers and online orders
- Assisting the wider retail team with fulfilling online orders including locating, allocating and preparing items for postage
- Maintaining a well organised and clean stockroom
- Store presentation
- Stock-takes
- Assisting Sales Team as required

**WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR**

The stockroom is the main engine room of our business. The person in charge of this area needs to be very diligent and well organised to ensure this area runs smoothly.

Critical to this role is a self-starter who prides themselves on working smart as well as hard, to have stock out for our customers as quickly as possible so we don't miss out on any sales opportunities.

We're also looking for an individual who has the following experience, skills and qualities:

- Prior retail experience, ideally within an inventory or back of house role
- Fantastic attention to detail
- Great communication skills
- Hard working and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty
- Strong team player
- Enthusiastic and personable

There will be a requirement to work some weekends and late nights.
