**Resource Recovery Services Lead (Waste Management)**

**Full-time**

Seeking a proficient Waste Specialties to join our client’s leadership team full-time located in the Southern Suburbs. This role will also be accountable for successful business outcomes through efficient and effective management and support of people and resources.

**About the role**:

- Leading a team, ensuring services are delivered safely and efficiently while achieving operational excellence
- Maintain a safe and sustainable resource recovery while ensuring stakeholders expectations are achieved
- Participating in setting strategies and implementation
- Prepare, monitor and update service programs and budgets
- Drive adoption of safe work practices
- Constant development of behaviour change and education for the community and industry
- Lead activities related to efficient and effective operations to facilitate consistent compliant outcomes and a high performing team, which includes;
- Resourcing
- Monitoring
- Performance data
- Procurement
- Financial management

**To be successful for this role you’ll need**:

- Demonstrated supervisory experience including coaching and mentoring staff
- Proven ability to effectively manage and sustain service outcomes through leadership of an operational team
- Minimum 2 years+ experience in procurement, contract management, resource management and report and analysis is essential
- Excellent communication both written and verbal, including a high level of interpersonal skills that demonstrate respect, integrity, honesty and maintain confidentiality
- White card
- Current C-Class Driver’s License
- National Police Clearance

**Desirable**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification and experience in Engineering, Waste Management, Environmental Management or Business Management
