We are looking for a **Full time** **Housekeeping** **Supervisor** to join our Housekeeping team. This is a great opportunity to work within a strong team to develop your career in a supportive and fun environment.

**The Role**:

- Checks all rooms as Attendants report them clean.
- Undertake inspections of front of house & back of house areas, ensuring a high level of cleanliness is maintained
- Clean guest rooms, public areas and back of house areas if required
- Ensure the safe storage, issue and use of cleaning materials and equipment as specified by the manufacturers and procedures manual
- Ensure the correct handling of guest laundry and lost property
- Liaise with Front Office and Maintenance regarding “ready” rooms, ensuring guest requirements are met
- Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying necessary departments to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
- Supervises and trains Room Attendants, Houseman and Public Area Cleaners.
- Checks all rooms as Attendants report them clean.
- Collects report sheets and enters into computer as clean, vacant or occupied.
- Liaise closely with Reception regarding any changes or specials.
- Reports any potential health and safety hazards to the Engineering Department.
- Ensures all team members are familiar with Hotel policies
- Ensures that good standards are maintained and that safety is to the highest priority.
- Responsible for the management of the Housekeeping Department in the Executive Housekeepers absence.
- Creates a congenial work environment for all team members ensuring high levels of morale.
- Carries out other duties as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.

**Ideally you will have**:

- Will demonstrate a can-do, responsible, and flexible approach to work, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A passion for customer service and a keen eye for detail
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- At least one year experience as a Housekeeping team leader or supervisor in a 4-5 star hotel
- The successful applicant must be available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, and have entitlements to work in Australia.
