**About the Role**:
As the Head of Department-Curriculum you will have responsibility for, but not limited to, the following:
**Contributing to, participating in and assisting with**:

- curriculum leadership and management of our whole school approach to curriculum development, implementation, assessment and reporting
- the coordination and maintenance of the school's curriculum documents and school based programs with a focus on but not limited to U2B learners, iLearn program, numeracy and phonics in the early years.
- the provision of feedback to the leadership team on the effectiveness of curriculum programs, pedagogy and reporting
- the identification and delivery of professional development needs of the school in relation to curriculum, pedagogy, assessment and reporting
- the collegial support of teachers during periods of new pedagogical endeavours.
- lead, as well as contribute to key school events

**Contributing to and assisting with**:

- the facilitation of year level planning days and activities
- the refinement or development of unit plans as Version 9.0 is rolled out.
- enhanced pedagogical delivery in classrooms.

**Liaising with**:

- other key personnel to assist teachers in ensuring the learning needs of all students are addressed in curriculum planning
- administration, teachers, and teacher aides on curriculum issues
- the community and external personnel to enhance curriculum development.
