They have an exciting portfolio with a strong R&D pipeline and an exciting product launch imminent in the cardio-metabolic space.

**About the Role**
- Newly created full-time, permanent role
- Covering Sydney
- could also be based in Wollongong.
- Field-based Medical Science Liaison position
- New product launch in the Cardio-metabolic space
- Clinically focused role working with and developing KOLs
- Provide a reliable, trusted source of unbiased, accurate, up-to-date medical and scientific knowledge.
- Working closely with cross functional team - sales, marketing & medical
- Requires strong scientific knowledge and commercial understanding
- Drive projects from concept to execution
- Conduct medical review of promotional materials
- Act as an internal expert to support staff training

**The Successful Applicant**
- Successful completion of relevant science based tertiary qualifications
- post grad ie. Masters (minimum) or PhD required
- Relevant industry (medical/scientific/HSR) experience in the Cardiometabolic or Endocrinologist area essential.
- New product launch experience highly regarded
- Learning agility to comprehend and effectively communicate large amounts of complex scientific content
- Self-directed and able to work alone in the field, effectively managing multiple priorities and projects.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, including high emotional intelligence and the ability to engage in professional relationship building and networking.
- Advanced presentation and computer skills with expertise in literature identification.
- Strong communication skills
