You will report to the Medical Science Liaison Manager, and be part of an experienced and diverse Clinical, Medical and Regulatory team, with an excellent opportunity to develop and refine your skills as a Medical Science Liaison, especially from MSL colleagues in the team.
**The Position**
The role is a 12-month contract position. As a key member of the Medical Team, the Medical Science Liaison is responsible for actively interfacing with multiple external and internal stakeholders to ensure implementation of the local strategy. You will be responsible to build and maintain relationships with Key Thought Leaders through discussions on Novo Nordisk marketed medicines, future pipeline assets and chronic disease management.
In this role you will:
- Build and develop face to face and virtual relationships with external experts & healthcare professionals in obesity, diabetes and chronic disease management and participate in robust and transparent scientific dialogue;
- Respond to requests for scientific and medical information in a comprehensive, timely and customer focused manner;
- Facilitate face to face and virtual presentations to nurses, GPs, Specialists and formulary committees;
- Provide medical input and expertise into the development of medical-marketing strategies and evidence-based medical education and promotional campaigns;
- Expand your knowledge in endocrine pharmacology, drug development, real world evidence generation, health outcomes, and patient safety.
**Qualifications**
- Must have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in Medical Affairs.
- Excellent scientific communication skills and confidence presenting to diverse groups.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Must either be an Australian Citizen or have a current residency Visa to live and work in Australia.
