One Solution is seeking Councillors Support Officers to work with council to provide high level administrative and secretarial support and assistance to the Mayor/Councillors. Provide support and assistance to the Executive Team in relation to the Mayor/Councillors, as well as act as intermediaries between the Mayor/Councillors and Council staff.

**Essential Criteria**

1. Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.

2. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

3. Excellent written and verbal communication with strong interpersonal skills

5. Demonstrated ability to deal with information with high sensitivity and confidentiality.

6. Understanding of local government functions, issues and local government political structure

7. Knowledge of and commitment to equal employment opportunities, diversity, work health and safety, ethical practice

**Desirable Criteria**:
1. Experience working in Local Government.

2. Current Class C driver’s license

Pre employment checks will include a police check and vaccination check.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: $52.00 - $55.00 per hour
