**Accounts Payable Officer** **-** **(**FIN00000141**)**

**Description**

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a critical part in the Followmont network and have a significant impact on our future growth. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be part of a fast paced and passionate environment focusing on the day-to-day maintenance of various accounts payable functions. This role would suit a proactive, organised, self-starter, who is able to work autonomously and enjoys being part of a supportive team.

**The Job**:

- Full Time working Monday to Friday
- Flexible working hours
- Verification of agent invoices against approved rates and documentation, ensuring discrepancies and credits are identified
- Preparation of twice weekly and end of month payment runs
- Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain key supplier relationships
- Ensure exceptional customer service experience is provided and maintained with all external and internal customers
- Meet and deliver on KPI's and targets in line with the business strategy

**Qualifications**

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 1 year previous experience in Accounts Payable, knowledge of the Transport and Logistics industry is highly regarded
- Demonstrate a high competency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word) and a commitment to learn any other systems required
- Focused on providing exceptional customer service with a positive attitude
