**Operations Assistant**
Bathurst Health Service

**About the role**

The Operations Assistant role supports the clinical team, primarily within the operating theatres, to promote the smooth running of surgical services; but also provides assistance throughout the health service according to needs, including general duties in wards, cleaning and portering for patient transfers or equipment around the facility if required.

The Theatre works Monday to Friday on a rotating day/afternoon shift and with a rotating on call weekend roster.

This position is managed by Downer on a day-to-day basis. With the assistance of buddies and theatre staff throughout the training process.
