Digital Engineering Manager

We are currently looking for strong talent within the digital engineering space. An exciting opportunity for Digital Engineering Manager has just got available in our Engineering & Asset Management Team.

The role will ensure Melbourne Airport's vision to develop a digital twin of the airport as it continues to evolve. Reporting to the Digital Asset Information Manager, this role will contribute to the development implementation and oversight of strategies and solutions. This is an exciting time to join Melbourne Airport as it is going through a period of unprecedented growth.

**Key responsibilities**:
The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

- Advocate, lead and support the use of best practice digital engineering techniques and processes across business.
- Effectively lead and manage a high performing team of digital specialists to deliver Melbourne Airport’s digital information roadmap and integration of data from Airport construction activities and operations.
- Support development of Capital Plan for digital systems infrastructure within BIM and Reality data portfolio.
- Support operational planning for digital systems infrastructure (preventative maintenance, consultancy) for BIM, Survey etc.
- Ensure timely delivery, review and approval of project deliverables and requests.
- Manage and oversee BIM solutions portfolio and act as APAM’s Digital Engineering Subject Matter Expert.
- Digital technical lead for Melbourne Airport’s key transformational projects.
- Research and develop innovations and solutions that drive continuous improvements in end-to-end digital asset information management and utilization enabling high value use cases.
- Enable and support operational utilization of APAM digital platforms

**Background**
- Demonstrable technical proficiency in core engineering/architecture disciplines.
- Expert knowledge in Autodesk AEC suites, Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise, Aconex etc. with good understanding of BIM automation.
- A good understanding of reality data acquisition, management and utilization in procurement and operations.

**Experience**
- Engineering Consultancy and/or Tier 1 Construction experience preferred.
- A minimum of 8-years’ experiences across diverse industry sectors (e.g., commercial, health, infrastructure),
- Demonstrated experience in BIM Management and project collaboration platform administration including but not limited to ACC, ProjectWise, Aconex etc.

**Qualifications**
- Engineering or Architectural Qualification (minimum) with relevant Post Graduate Qualifications (preferred)
