GenesisCare currently have a great opportunity for a Clinical Research Assistant to join our NSW team, based at the North Shore Health Hub in a permanent full-time position.

As the Clinical Research Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Coordinators and the GenesisCare National Research Team in our Oncology Clinics. This position is an excellent opportunity to expand your career and gain valuable experience in research administration from a leading company.

As the Clinical Research Assistant, you would be responsible for the conduct and coordination of assigned clinical trial administrative activities being undertaken in the state. You will work with an amazing team with diverse knowledge and experience across the state, being an integral part of the team conducting trials in accordance with GenesisCare SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines and all applicable national and international laws and regulations.

More specifically, you will:

- Undertake general administrative duties including booking and confirming participant appointments, accessing hospital medical records, writing letters to referring doctors, scanning and document filing.
- Organise and schedule appointments/meetings, internally and externally, as necessary.
- Maintain study trackers as required.
- Assist the Start-Up team with maintaining staff details, CV’s, training and registration documentation including GCP, medical registration and medical insurance details.
- Help with clerical duties relating to each individual clinical trial including filing and site file organisation.
- Assist the clinical research coordinator in preparing for patient visits.
- Assist clinical research coordinator with data capture and entry for research projects as requested.
- Arrange archiving of completed research projects and update associated trackers Liaise with other health providers to provide or obtain clinical trial related information and data.
- Work with the clinical research coordinator to assist with recruitment and screening of patients.
- Observe and witness the administration of investigational product.
- Ensure all research is conducted in accordance with GenesisCare SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines, study specific protocols and all applicable national and international laws and regulations.
- Complete all mandatory and trial specific training as required.

- Minimum completion of year 12.
- Post grad science qualification or working towards.
- Current GCP certification.
- Advance IT skills.
- Flexible work hours to meet demand.
