Position Summary:
As a Hospital Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the hospital premises, staff, patients, and visitors. You will play a crucial role in preventing and responding to incidents, ensuring that the hospital environment is safe and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and patrol hospital grounds, ensuring safety and compliance with hospital policies.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, coordinating with medical and law enforcement personnel as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises, identifying and addressing potential security risks.
- Assist in the management of access control, ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports of incidents, activities, and observations during shifts.
- Collaborate with hospital staff to promote safety awareness and facilitate security training as needed.
- Act as a visible deterrent to criminal activity and ensure a peaceful hospital environment.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in security management or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field; prior hospital security experience is preferred.
- Possession of a valid security guard license/certification.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $27.13 - $54.26 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Rotating roster

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 24/07/2025
