Factory Foreman

Vincent Security is a market leader in the production and installation of Crimsafe and Aluminium Security doors and Screens

Due to restructuring and business growth we are looking for an experienced, and energetic individual to co-ordinate the day to day supervision of Production on the factory floor

The focus of this role is the production and delivery of Security door and grille products with timely distribution. Experience in the Security door or other allied industry is strongly preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Directs, coordinates and schedules the work of Tradespersons and Ta's in the factory

•     Ensuring that production / output targets are achieved;

•     Quality Control checking of jobs prior to dispatch

•     Ensures that safe work practices are adhered to as per the Company's  OH&S policies and procedures and reporting problems to Management

•     Providing leadership and guidance to all employees

•    Assist with developing and improving production methods;

•     Liaise with the Purchasing department to ensure constant supply of needed materials

• Maintain Plant and Equipment in satisfactory working order

To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate abilities in the following;

• A trade background, with experience in the Crimsafe and Aluminium Security door and screen industry.
• Excellent communication skills dealing with all tiers of the business
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory position
• The ability to motivate and train staff and to coordinate production schedules
• Hold a Forklift licence
• Effective computer skills in the use of Microsoft Office programs Outlook, Word & Excel
• The ability to gain respect of workers by making things happen even if this means getting in there showing how it is done this is a hands on position.
