**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking an Assurance and Governance Business & Investigation Manager to join our team at ASC. Working with the Governance and Assurance leadership team, the position is required to maintain a strategic perspective of the entire business and consider a wide range of longer-term issues, opportunities, and risks to ensure ongoing business success.

**Responsibilities**

Reporting to the General Manager (GM) Governance and you will be accountable for compliance management, Customer liaison and Royal Australian Navy Quality Feedback coordination, maintaining the Technical Support Network (TSN) and assurance activities and management and provision of Assurance and Governance Investigations into Product related issues. You will contribute to investigation and insurance outcomes, including through aligning activities with ASC’s strategy.

**About You**

To be successful as our Assurance and Governance Business & Investigator Manager you will have:

- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline (post-grad qualification preferred)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior Technical Governance/ Assurance role or similar. (experience in Defence/Shipbuilding industry is highly desirable)
- Experience in Lead auditing and investigation is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a high performing team in a complex environment, ability to identify and implement interventions and high-quality solutions to complex problems.

**Eligibility**

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
