Kellogg Brown and Root (KBR) is a leading Defence and Government professional services provider. **The Role**
The Naval Shipbuilding College (NSC) is an organization dedicated to workforce development and skilling across the Australian naval shipbuilding enterprise. KBR, in a joint venture with** **Huntington Ingalls Industries, has established and has managed operations for the College since 2018.
As part of our service offering for the NSC, we are seeking to engage an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to assist in continuous improvement activities related to Quality Assurance and Audit Coordination. The Quality Assurance Supervisor's responsibilities will include:
- Management and execution of quality and audit processes.
- Development and management of corrective actions from initial raise through to close out.
- Facilitation and management of Gate reviews.
- Attain and maintain AS/NZS ISO accreditation.
- Facilitation of all compliance activities and core business processes as required within the contracted deliverables.
- Conduct of audits on product, process and compliance.
- Customer and stakeholder engagement and maintenance of relationships at all levels.
- Attendance at relevant customer meetings (as required).
- Fostering of a positive work environment that is professional, dynamic and innovative.
- Provision of consultancy support (as required).
- Reporting on deliverable status to NSC Program Director.
- Ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.
**Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge**
- Recognised qualification in Quality Management or similar (ideal) or commensurate professional experience.
- Strong Quality Assurance and Auditing experience in a professional services environment.
- Advanced Stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Proven track record of successful delivery of outcomes.
- Experience chairing or facilitating high-level meetings.
- Highly advanced communication skills (written and verbal).
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills.
- Experience within Defence Industry (desirable).
**This role is initially contracted for 6-months and is located at the NSC Office within Osborne Shipbuilding Precinct, Adelaide.**
