**Back of House/Front of House**

In this mix of roles, the Back of House and Front of House staff are facing and creating a welcoming environment for guests and at the same time, ensuring the cleanliness of the cafe. BOH staff work behind the scenes to support the FOH team and ensure customer satisfaction. This role involves greeting customers, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. FOH staff also handle payments and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create a welcoming environment and maintain cafe cleanliness.
- Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages.
- Handle payments and ensure overall customer satisfaction.
- Support team with stock management and product rotation.
- Answer menu inquiries and resolve complaints.
- Ensure timely and complete order delivery.
- Serve food and beverages promptly.
- Assist with product receiving and stock rotation.
- Set up and clean front and back areas daily.
- Organise and clean storage, linens, and glassware.
- Maintain dining area cleanliness.
- Clear and clean tables promptly.
- Keep service areas stocked with supplies.
- Work with staff to ensure efficient service and food quality.
- Communicate customer feedback to the manager.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly attitude and professional appearance.
- Comply with local food safety requirements.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
