**About the role**:
Reporting to the Service Manager, the role of Service Technician will typically involve preventative and remedial maintenance and/or installation of specialist biomedical equipment used typically within dental/medical surgeries and laboratories, allied health practices and beauticians.

The primary objective of your role is to assure the safety, effectiveness, availability and compliance of biomedical technology and equipment used directly for patient diagnosis, treatment or monitoring for or in connection with our customers operations.

You will be responsible for working together with our existing team and Service Manager with telephone support, installations, servicing, and breakdown repair for various equipment including dental chairs, decontamination, x-ray, autoclaves, CAD/CAM equipment, hand pieces and compressors.

Handling breakdown calls and managing maintenance call targets is part of the role as is flexibility to travel and work 'on call' hours as required.

You will be responsible complete your own job cards and assisting other technicians to complete their jobs cards to an acceptable standard within our job tracking and billing system and assist the Administration and Finance team where necessary to finalise our invoices to our customers.

As a Service Technician you will take a leading role in ensuring we operate a safe and healthy workplace and support the business and colleagues in compliance with our policies and procedures.

You will be covering metro Adelaide day to day and at times will be required to travel further afield to support our clients located across countryside South Australia and Interstate.

**Person specification**:

- Previous experience servicing in a dental environment is preferred.
- Flexibility to travel and work 'on call' hours required
- Formal engineering or related technical qualification is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel around metro, countryside South Australia and Interstate required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
