About the Program
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner Program creates an opportunity for participants to reach their full potential via supported on the job training in Metro South Health and Childrens Health Queensland with localised education and meaningful employment.

Participants are supported with full time employment, tailored education plans to suit individual learning needs, suitable rostering to support engagement with program education and wrap around, culturally safe support to continue through the program's various academic milestones. Program participants will be expected to engage with study outside of rostered hours.
