**A typical day will involve**
This pivotal role will report to the National Practice Manager, who will support you as you deliver programs to facilitate building bonds between children and their incarcerated parent(s).
- Strategically planning, coordinating, and facilitating programs.
- Promoting professional, respectful, and non-judgmental delivery
- Parent, carer, prison personnel, and community networks liaison
- Recruit, train, coordinate and support child/family volunteer teams
- Manage operational and staff administrative paperwork
- Roll out fun, age-appropriate, culturally sensitive, and safe programs
- Maintain operational, compliance, and staff administrative paperwork
- Overseeing legislative compliance, policies, and procedures

**What you need to succeed**
To lead programs held at the A
- lexander Maconochie Centre_ programs, you will be passionate about providing life-changing experiences to strengthen family bonds.
- Diploma of Community Services, education, and/or criminology
- Team leadership experience in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting
- Expertise in working with vulnerable young people, and their families
- Promote trauma-informed care and behavioural intervention
- Works well with culturally diverse clients and indigenous communities
- Team leadership experience in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting
- Experience managing programs and budgets
- Australian citizen, strong references, WWCC, police check
- A current driver's licence

**The impact you will have**
Our programs encompass mentoring, education support, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, child and family programs, parenting, playgroups, child transportation, and casework, helping avoid family breakdown and intergenerational offending. Our work has proven outcomes in reducing both youth and adult recidivism.

Your background could be in education, community services, child protection, or family services. You will be passionate about continuously developing programs to break the fragmenting parent and child separation cycle.
