Electrical Technician

Ventia are looking for an **Electrical Technician** to support maintenance services at Lane Cove Tunnel (LCT)

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role will see you responsible for repairing and maintaining instrumentation, communication, and monitoring systems.

**What you'll be doing**
- Calibration and setting up of equipment and instrumentation throughout the tunnel and ancillary structures.
- Maintenance and testing of electrical mechanical tunnel and building systems equipment
- Identification of problems down to component level and notification to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Maintain records and compile reports as specified by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Co-ordinate and assist sub-contractors when required.
- Provide assistance to other Ventia personnel as required.
- Liaise with RMS, emergency services and other personnel as required.
- Assist the Tunnel Controller to perform control room duties.

**Skills & Experience**
- Electrical Trade qualification and NSW Electrical License
- White Card
- Electrical Construction / Road /Rail Maintenance experience, including PLC's and complex control equipment
- Driver’s Licence (MR Desirable)
- Ability to participate on night shifts as rostered
- Desirable:

- Elevated Work Platform
- Low Voltage Rescue
- First Aid
- Stop/Slow Traffic Control
- Confined Space & Breathing Apparatus
