Junior UX/UI Designer

Stamp Loyalty Solutions is an award-winning B2B global loyalty software company. We specialise in providing digital loyalty solutions to businesses and brands all over the globe.

Our loyalty app, Stamp Me, puts the concept of the “Buy 5, Get 1 Free” style loyalty cards onto a mobile phone device. It is used by businesses and their customers all over the world to reward loyalty and drive customer retention.

We also build and manage loyalty platforms for enterprise clients which include many well-known brands including Samsung, Alcon, QV Skincare and Zoetis.

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Junior UI/UX Designer to join our small, friendly and fun team based in St Kilda.

**About the role**

As our Junior UI/UX Designer, you will be planning the UX and designing the UI for websites and apps for various clients (large brands and organisations) and our own digital platforms.

You will be be engaged in all stages of the design cycle: Research, ideation, concept design, implementation, testing as well as creating supporting assets for each interface.

We are looking for a designer who is keen to take on larger projects, but someone with ability and willingness to also assist with smaller creative design tasks when required.

You will be joining a team with deep experience and expertise of the loyalty and rewards industry, working in a fast-paced progressive, exciting and creative environment.
- Design of UX / UI for websites and apps (mobile and tablet)
- Working closely with marketing and technical teams on complex problems ensuring design supports customer needs and business outcomes
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off
- Prepare and present rough design ideas and prototypes to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Demonstrating the user experience at various stages of the design process through user journeys, storyboards, sitemap, wireframes, flow diagrams, low-fidelity designs, and high-fidelity prototypes
- Keep up with the latest trends and sharing findings with the team.
- Identifying the needs, requirements and designing platforms that provide outstanding user experiences

This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis and would suit a recent graduate or student. Please specify what you are looking for in your cover letter.

**About you**
- Approximately 1 or more years of experience in UI/UX design for Apps/Web
- Solid knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Proficiency in prototyping tools like Adobe XD, Figma or Sketch
- Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- A passion for learning and enhancing your existing skills.
- Ability to identiy pain-points, gaps, opportunities and flag areas of improvement
- You are a person who takes initiative, loves making improvements and having autonomy
- You take ownership and responsibility to complete work.
- You have a high attention to detail.
- Real team player - looking out for others and achieving together
- Portfolio of work that demonstrates web and mobile solutions, as well as your process and thinking
- Strong communication skills
