What this job involves
We have a terrific opportunity to join an outstanding team as Facilities Manager. You will be looking after a mixed assets (Commercial Office) portfolio in and around the Adelaide and inner suburbs.
You will ensure that the properties are operating satisfactorily, and all maintenance & relevant service requirements are being met. Day to day you will maintain tenant relationships, conduct inspections, obtain quotes & arrange repairs of building services and identify non-compliance or risk issues for the asset.
Promoting and demonstrating superior customer service will be a key element of this role
**Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for**:
You will have a background in building operations, ideally from a mechanical engineering trade (electrical qualifications will also be considered) Critical to the success of this role will be your ability to use systems and have proven skills with Excel and Word
Experience in the management of the broad spectrum of building services with emphasis on managing a portfolio of commercial assets and their systems including fire systems, electrical and building intelligence is essential
Strong communication and customer service skills are sought, along with a proactive and positive work approach
We’ll expect you to have a high degree of independence on a day-to-day basis and be good at meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
Of course, you’ll be good at building team relationships and interacting effectively with business partners.
