Our client is one of the largest private hospital pathology businesses, providing comprehensive, high quality pathology services across New South Wales and North-Western Victoria. They are looking for a full time, permanent Pathology Laboratory Manager to work in their regional laboratory located in Mildura, regional Victoria.

**About the Role**
This role services Mildura Private Hospital as well as multiple clinics within this region. The duties and responsibilities include:

- Laboratory supervision, team of 10
- Laboratory operation 7am - 11pm
- Perform a range of laboratory tests within a multi-disciplinary setting (Biochemistry, Blood Transfusion, Haematology/Coagulation)
- Full Time permanent position.
- Prioritise work-flow to meet client’s requirements
- Ensure results are released with acceptable turnaround times (TAT)
- Maintain QC programs and ensure QC protocols are adhered to.
- Oversee training of new staff to the required standard.
- Work independently as required.

**About You**
To be considered for this role your skills and attributes should include:

- Tertiary Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent
- At least 2 years full time post-graduate experience in a Pathology Laboratory
- Strong interpersonal skills to build meaningful partnerships
- Experience in working under tight deadlines to meet day to day targets, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks within set timeline
- Works effectively as part of a broader team
- Results orientated and a proactive and effective problem solver
- Proven skills in defining, prioritising, and organising competing tasks to meet deadlines
- Ability to always demonstrate the highest levels of confidentiality and integrity
