Lifeworks Health Services is a highly regarded workplace rehabilitation provider with offices and consultants located across Australia. Founded 25 years ago, LHS has the experience and knowledge to provide not only best practice solutions for our clients, but the ability to implement services that make a difference. We have recently been added to the icare NSW panel of providers and are looking to make a difference in NSW

We use a team of contractors to deliver a range of workplace rehabilitation and RTW services along with occupational health products including safety solutions, pre-employment assessments, vocational programs, psychological services, tailored health interventions and training. Due to our staffing structure, we can provide boutique style services to both local and national clients, while allowing our team members to specify their own work conditions.

Currently, we are looking for qualified allied health contractors (OT, EP, RN and Physio) who would like to join our team to service **Sydney, Gosford and Newcastle and the surrounding areas.**

**Icare NSW**

1. Workplace assessments, suitable duties plans, effective medical case conferencing skills and case management for physical and psychological claims. Must be comfortable with managing a large load of claims and working towards ambitious KPI’s. With strong mental health background, the consultant would be willing to assist with mental health claims for return to pre injury employer. Must be willing to travel up to 2 hours from Sydney or Erina/Gosford areas.

**Income protection**

2. Initial needs assessment for physical claims
- Your evidence-based recommendations may lead to request from insurer for implementation of them and therefore ongoing management of the claim will be required-facilitating a return to wellness and possibly to the workforce.

**Department Veteran Affairs**

3. DVA approved (or in 2-year mentorship) and able to provide DVA case management services independently according to PPG-KPI’s provided. Some one off ADL for Household services may be required.

These positions are highly suited to contractors running their own allied health business that would like some additional work in a different stream or those who wish to run their own flexible business. Administration support, online IT systems and mentoring is available, along with workloads to suit your needs and attractive incentives. Hourly remuneration rates will be negotiated based on experience but starting rate is $120/hour +GST-willing to offer $130/hour if indicated by experience and skills.

**Successful applicants will be dedicated to achieving results and developing repeat business, and will also have a caring attitude.**

**Essential**:

- Registration with relevant professional body
- Minimum of 3 years occupational rehab experience
- Two years FT clinical experience in relevant discipline
- Own business or willingness to contract as sole trader
- Excellent communication skills and ability to meet timeframes
- Minimum of one year experience in occupational rehab

**Desirable**:

- 2 years’ experience in icare NSW Scheme or RTW services interstate or in other schemes
- Current Driver’s license and ability to travel to worksites
