**Roles responsibilities below**:
**Allied Health Assistant**
- Assist the Allied Health teams in the management of a diverse range of patients who require rehabilitation.
- Provide therapy in individualised and group settings in the Allied Health treatment areas, on the ward, and also within the gym and hydrotherapy environment.
- Work both independently and within a team structure.

**Occupational Therapist**
- Manage a diverse range of patients who require rehabilitation across admitted and non-admitted services.
- Provide therapy in individualised, paired, and group settings.
- Participate in developing appropriate discharge plans with the multidisciplinary team.
- Work both independently and within a team structure
- You will have a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and APHRA registration.
- Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and skill in multiple areas of Occupational Therapy.

**Physiotherapist**
- Confidently manage a diverse range of patients who require rehabilitation across admitted and non-admitted services including joint replacements, post spinal surgery, reconditioning, chronic pain and/or neurological.
- Collaborate with members of the multidisciplinary team to plan effective and evidence based care for patients.
- You will have a Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent with APHRA registration.

**Discharge Planner**
- Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient outcomes.
- Implement and co-ordinate a plan for discharge and referral of patients, organising post-discharge home support where relevant and required.
- Liaise with other members of the multidisciplinary care team to assist with patient and family adjustment to their illness and other associated concerns and stress factors within the process of rehabilitation and discharge.
- You will have a Degree in Social Work or other relevant Allied Health qualification.
- Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers or equivalent Professional Association.
- Experience with My Aged Care and the residential aged care process, Life Time Care and Support, and NDIS will be highly regarded.

Mt Wilga Private Hospital is a 119 bed specialist rehabilitation facility, with a busy day therapy unit, and outpatients department situated in Hornsby, a peaceful area of Sydney’s Upper North Shore.

Part of the Ramsay Health Care Group, Mt Wilga boasts an excellent clinical reputation as a leader in private rehabilitation, with large treatment areas, two hydrotherapy pools, and fully equipped gymnasiums. Mt Wilga offers comprehensive rehabilitation programs for patients presenting with a wide variety of conditions including orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, neurological, chronic pain, cardiac, amputee, reconditioning, and lymphoedema.

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:

- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19** a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
- Must provide a **National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children **check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases.
