Spring Hill Cubbyhouse Montessori (SHCM) is a new 57 place family-owned child care centre. We engage a holistic approach using our partnership with families to support the children's learning through Montessori. Our passionate team have built a strong rapport with all families and children as we believe in preparing the children for life. As a centre, career development, professional development and training are available to all team members through workshops, mentoring programs and in-house training. Our dedicated specialists’ educators are passionate about supporting and assisting the staff in their roles and responsibilities.

**About the role**

The Infant Community consists of 16 places with children aged between 15months to 36months. As a Montessori Lead Guide and an advocate for Montessori Education, you will be responsible for the day to day running of our Infant Classroom. This includes:

- ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in a clean and hygienic environment
- mentoring and guiding the educators to support them on their Montessori journey
- planning, aiding and encourage the growth of each child's independence according to the Montessori philosophy
- demonstrating a working knowledge and adhere to the EYLF + NQF
- being a positive role model to the children and Educators in all aspects of the room, routines and practices
- supervising children at all times, guide and re-direct when necessary
- supporting all the children in the room, and respond sensitively to their individual education, social and emotional needs, treating all children equally and respectfully
- maintaining an orderly Montessori environment in which furnishings and materials are clean, complete and appropriate to the developmental needs of the children

**Qualifications and experience**
- Completion of Diploma in Children's Services (or approved equivalent), or be enrolled and actively completing a Diploma in Children's Services.
- Experience within the Early Childhood sector
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Current Working with Children Check
- A strong inclusive team member
- Ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders
- Articulate well verbally and in writing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
