Our client is seeking a passionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join their team as a Rehabilitation Consultant based in Canberra, ACT.

With over 20 years of experience, this provider prides itself on great values such as respect, professionalism and integrity which are the founding blocks for a great provider/client relationship.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their skills and advance their career in the field of occupational rehabilitation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the physical, psychological and social needs of clients
- Design, implement and monitor rehabilitation programs for injured workers to achieve successful return to work outcomes
- Perform worksite assessments and ergonomic assessments
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, employers, medical practitioners and insurers
- Provide advice to clients and their support networks on injury management, prevention and self-management strategies
- Conduct case conferences and liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to rehabilitation
- Provide support and guidance to junior staff and participate in the ongoing professional development of the team

**Requirements**:

- A degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in occupational rehabilitation, including experience in providing rehabilitation services to injured workers and conducting worksite assessments
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Current driver's license and willingness to travel to clients' workplaces
