**Head of Marketing, APAC**
**(Based in Sydney)**
Are you a passionate, energetic, and creative senior marketer with experience and a keen interest in the fast-paced digital and adtech space? We are looking for a senior marketing leader based in Sydney, Australia to join our growing business. Reporting to the Managing Director APAC, this is a both a strategic and hands-on role supporting our APAC business across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the Philippines, India, and other regional markets supported by Blis in the region or that may open due to company expansion.
**Key responsibilities**
- **Client and Marketing strategy and implementation**
- Working with the commercial leaders to develop, implement and report on the marketing strategy for APAC and support/localize global GTM plans for agencies and clients in the region.
- Contribute to global marketing strategy, GTM planning, execution and reporting.
- Manage all parts of the marketing mix for your region, including Blis and client events, partnerships, gifting, social, content and PR, across paid, owned and earned channels
- Understand the competitive landscape and drive the product differentiation strategy in APAC, working with the Product/Product Marketing and Commercial Teams to ensure differentiation consistent messaging in the region tailored to individual APAC markets.
- Manage the regional marketing budget and vendor / partner relationships.
- **Team leadership**
- Serve as a supportive and influential leader within the APAC team and peer within the global Marketing Team.
- Project manage and collaborate with others within the team to achieve agreed goals.
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability for your work and have a proactive and inclusive approach
- **Partner with the business & industry**
- Work closely with the APAC commercial teams to exceed revenue, margin and profitability targets.
- Act as an advisor to the APAC MD, and sales directors in the regions on critical changes in the competitive landscape, the APAC marketplace and external business environment.
- Manage internal communications for APAC on Blis’ marketing strategy and ensure that all employees in APAC understand the company positioning and strategic plan.
- Manage relationships with key APAC trade bodies and ensure Blis is well represented.
**Skills and experience**
- 5 + years’ digital, adtech or martech marketing experience, including at least two years in a team manager or player-coach role.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and executing regional marketing and client marketing plans in APAC is essential, as well as analyzing and reporting on results. Global experience is a plus, including working with teams in Europe and the US but not essential.
- Proven track record of success in tactical marketing and client marketing, working within high-growth, entrepreneurial environments, where plate-spinning and ‘rolling up your sleeves’ is essential.
- Proven track record of collaboration and creating strong partnerships internally with marketing, sales and product teams, as well as senior executives and externally with key trade organisation's, agencies, partners within the digital marketing, mobile and advertising industries.
- Demonstrable experience with content development, social media, paid media negotiation and event management.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, adept at both promotional writing as well as longer-form content, as well as regional adaptation.
- Highly organised, focused and adept at managing multiple work streams at once.
- Adept at stakeholder management and building strong, trust-based relationships.
- A self starter who is creative and an ideas generator who can also bring good ideas to life in a timely and impactful way.
- Experience with tools such as Hubspot, Wordpress/ Elementor is a plus
- Experience with Managed Service, programmatic and/or SaaS technology and mobile location technology expertise is a plus.
- Experience in creating, setting up and running paid social media campaigns (eg. on LinkedIn) is a plus.
