**As a Head of SEO,** you will be responsible for leading the SEO team to deliver client results, providing strategic counsel to the team & clients, in Australia.

By coaching the SEOs on how to understand a clients’ business, and serve as their go-to thought leader on SEO, content opportunities and link building strategies, you will ensure the quality of work meets expectations and delivers ROI that retains & grows our client database.

In addition to leading the SEO team, you’ll work closely with our Heads of Client Services, Content and Links teams, to ensure our processes, campaign strategies and execution are consistently achieving measurable business outcomes.

**As Head of SEO-, you will be responsible for**:

- Organise the workload for the SEO team members, ensuring quality in the work delivered.
- Escalation point for Organic Delivery Team members.
- Recruiting & developing the best SEOs in Australia, Philippines, and other regions OMG where is present to maintain & grow our offering.
- Work with cross functional departments to develop and track all the details of SEO initiatives.
- Build and maintain project management processes that streamline SEO initiatives.
- Our clients require bespoke strategies, and you will work with our senior SEO specialists on devising the right strategy for each client, creating efficient templates/processes along the way to support the wider team's learning of SEO best practice.
- In addition to your leadership responsibilities, the day-to-day includes an opportunity to stay hands-on with high-value client work.

**Requirements**:

- Management of a team of 8+ people.
- Approx 5+ years in Digital.
- Approx 6+ years SEO experience.
- Experience in Content analysis & strategy, Data analysis & strategy, Off-site (links) analysis & strategy
- An in-depth understanding of SEO and what needs to be done in an agency environment to get and maintain great results is essential.
- A deep understanding of tools such as SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console etc.
- Serve as SEO expert for business development pitches.
- Provide training and education for non-SEO team members and client
- Experience managing an SEO team is preferred.
- An analytical mind and strong attention to detail with experience extracting meaningful insights from various datasets.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present confidently both internally and to clients.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc
- Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc
