**Poultry Production Worker**

The Poultry Production Worker is responsible for performing various tasks to assist in the production and processing of poultry products for our stores. This includes ensuring that all processes are completed according to regulations, safety procedures, and quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Prepare poultry for packing by marinating as per charcoal and fried chicken requirements.
- Pack poultry into correct packaging ensuring they meet the required hygiene and quality standards.
- Inspect poultry products for freshness, quality, and any defects before packaging, ensuring only top-quality products are sent out.
- Properly label packaged products with all necessary information including expiration dates and product codes.
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment, reporting any malfunctions immediately to a supervisor/manager.
- Work efficiently to meet daily targets while maintaining high standards of product quality.
- Assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment at the end of the shift.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and hygiene standards to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear while working.
- Collaborate with team members to maximize production efficiency and output.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and quality control.
- Keep accurate records of production output and quality control measures.

**Requirements**:

- Full understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Manual dexterity for handling machines and poultry products.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards to ensure the quality and safety of the product.
- Willing to work in a cold and wet environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established procedure.
- Willingness to work in a potentially challenging and noisy industrial setting.
- Capable of lifting 20kg plus.
