**What you will do**

As a forensic alcohol and other drugs practitioner, you will help people with alcohol and other drug (AOD) problems who are in the criminal justice system.

You will:

- **Help deliver clinical interventions**:Facilitate group or individual therapy programs for offenders with substance abuse issues.
- **Conduct assessments**:Administer assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of substance abuse on clients.
- **Develop and maintain client records**:Create and update comprehensive case notes, treatment plans and reports.
- **Collaborate with other professionals**:Work with corrections staff and other stakeholders to ensure effective client management.
- **Maintain professional standards**: Adhere to ethical guidelines, participate in professional development, and contribute to data collection and team efforts.

**Eligibility**
- Minimum qualification in Certificate or Diploma IV AOD, Community Services or similar.
- A relevant qualification in social work, a related human services discipline, criminal justice or criminology with work experience in a related field.
