**Company Overview**

The Head of Advice role manages the Financial Planning team for a national, well-established organisation. The already successful Financial Planning arm is expected to undergo significant growth, this role will be responsible for driving this.

**Role Overview**

The incumbent will take a critical role in leading the advice team across multiple NSW offices. The Head of Advice will act as a coach/ mentor to the advisers and support the team to unlock and increase the number of conversion of leads/opportunities.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Managing the team on a day-to-day basis across multiple locations within NSW
- Build and strengthen relationships within internal business to build a strong referral network for the advisers.
- Prepare annual budgets for the board
- Identify training needs and implement professional development to improve financial planning capabilities and client engagement activities.
- Maintain highest level of compliance and licensee standards.

**Skills and experience**
- Experience in managing a team of financial planners/ advice firm with strong autonomy and entrepreneurial skills
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications ideally ASIC accreditation
- Membership of recognized Professional bodies
- A passion for high quality delivery of ethical financial advice
- Experience in business development and client engagement
