As part of our diverse team based in **Newcastle**, you will help make a positive impact on someone’s life every day. You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose.

You are the go-to person in the team for all things medical, supporting 2x claims teams and developing the most effective return to work, return to life, injury management and recovery strategies, while delivering the right customer experience every time. This role is predominately coaching, and project based, providing, and supporting the claims teams to achieve positive Injury Management practices, compliance and iCare service standards as well as assisting in project work.

This will be a **12-month Max Term Contract** commencing **September / October** based in the **Newcastle** office, with flexibility to work from home.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Supporting Case Managers alongside the Team Leader and the Technical Specialists through the course of their day to achieve their daily activities to a high quality
- Regular one on one coaching with Case Managers focused on capability uplift in claims management strategy and project outcomes
- Monitor Injury Management plans and provide support and coaching to meet quality standards and compliance
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Support RTW Programs and iCare Foundation programs
- Develop injury management plans and implement strategies including leveraging relevant resources required in managing claim scenarios

**ABOUT YOU**
- Sound communication skills and a passion for working in a team environment to achieve outcomes, customer focused approach and someone who loves attention to detail
- Tertiary studies in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Exercise Science, Nursing, or other Allied Health field)
- Demonstrated experience in injury management insurance / workers insurance
