The role of Injury Management Advisor is paramount to ensure the quality of the decision making process within claims management, and promoting consistency in approach and compliance to legislation. You will be responsible to provide clinical and injury management technical expertise to assess personal injury claims for reasonable and appropriate / necessary treatment and rehabilitation requirements and enable the department to achieve claims management objectives.

**What you’ll do (not limited to)**:

- Prepare professional written and verbal advice to claims handlers on reasonable and appropriate / necessary treatment and rehabilitation services and recommendations for future rehabilitation management
- Provide consistent injury management expertise and support to ensure ongoing quality decisions and provide input into claims strategy
- Work within the designated Delegation of Authority
- Engage and negotiate with Service Providers, Claimants, Solicitors and claims staff.

**What you will bring**:

- Degree in Allied Health related discipline is mandatory
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience and
- Minimum 2 years Workers Compensation/ CTP Experience - Desired
- Minimum 2 years Occupational Rehabilitation experience (desired for Workers Compensation)
- Ability to identify developmental needs of team members and recommend training activities to achieve positive outcomes.
