The People M&A Manager helps deliver all the people components on M&A deals. You will work across each deal phase, from Due Diligence to Integration, to ensure the goals of the deal can be met through the People Strategy, and that acquired employees have a great experience along the way. You will report into Head of People M&A

**What you'll do**:

- Support M&A leaders with Due Diligence and Integration efforts from a People perspective. As experience grows, you will be take full ownership of the People process on smaller sized deals.
- Collaborate with other People COEs to help deliver the full scope of Atlassian’s People capabilities to employees on M&A deals.
- Collate, assess and review employee data during Due Diligence and produce analyses to inform the People Strategy for the deal.
- Manage employee data, including data collation, validation and preparation for migration to Atlassian systems.
- Design Day 1 readiness plans for employees, including communications, onboarding plans and learning resources.
- Be a face of the People team for newly acquired employees by answering queries, helping them navigate Atlassian and solving their issues.
- Help deliver employee engagement activities post Day 1, including employee deep dives, surveys and other culture integration activities. Report on outcomes and work with M&A leaders to develop action plans.
- Look for ways to improve our M&A methods based on industry best practices and new technologies.
- Maintain weekly action plans, coordinating team meetings, managing team content and collaborating with our broader partner groups.

**Your background**:

- 6+ years of experience supporting M&A deals
- Be comfortable working in a global team, with team members in different timezones in a remote environment.
- Project management skills and lead successful execution of Due Diligence and Integration activities.
- Manage priorities and changing direction quickly.
- Experience in content writing, either for employee-facing communications or our team’s internal strategies and blogs.
- Can handle sensitive data with the appropriate confidentiality.
- Demonstrate the ability to work even when faced with incomplete information, and make informed decisions accordingly.
- Uphold the team's operational routines and ensuring follow-up on actions.
