Working at our vital Boral Concrete plant in Bridgewater & Derwent Park, we have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Batcher/Plant Operator to join our committed team.

As a Plant Operator, you will be at the heart of our concrete production processes, ensuring that our plant runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll operate and maintain machinery, monitor production metrics, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Individuals with experience in concrete batching, operating front end loaders, operating forklifts and working within a safety critical environment are encouraged to apply.

**Your Day will involve**:

- Accurate batching of concrete orders using advanced systems.
- Operating front-end loaders to weigh and load materials.
- Managing daily administration, including stock control and reporting.
- Inspecting and maintaining plant equipment and trucks.
- General housekeeping and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Upholding and following safety standards and procedures.

**What we are looking for?**
- A strong safety focus and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound computer skills for batching, reporting, and stock management.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality
- Pro-active attitude
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with mínimal supervision
- Availability to work shift work
