The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Fixed Plant Maintenance Planner to join our client's mining operations in Tasmania.

This is a full-time opportunity on an initial 12 month contract, that can be on a residential or FIFO basis.

What the role entails

  • Undertaking strategy reviews and executing maintenance strategies on-site
  • Using life cycle costing to support financial decision-making including the end-of-life repair vs replace decisions or selection of new assets
  • Developing weekly preventive maintenance schedules
  • Implementing reliability and maintenance strategies on equipment
  • Demonstration of an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development
  • Managing the Planned Maintenance (PM) work order system
  • Working with the engineering manager and maintenance staff

What you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience on maintenance planning, equipment and asset health monitoring
  • Prior experience using Pronto (Desirable)
  • Prior experience with fixed plants in a mining setting
  • Proven ability to successfully develop working relationships across all levels
