**The role**: You will lead state-wide digital healthcare projects responsible for providing advanced clinical advice in the planning, delivery and evaluation of statewide clinical informatics services and initiatives and contribute and collaborate as a member of the OCCIO team.

**In addition to this, you will be responsible for**:

- Manage state-wide digital healthcare projects responsible for achieving the successful delivery of key digital transformation objectives.
- Work collaboratively with Hospital and Health Services and technical partners in assessing the clinical readiness for digital release to new on-boarding Queensland Health sites.
- Initiate and sustain engagement with key stakeholders and clinicians across various disciplines to deliver successful outcomes through effective consultation, negotiation, issues resolution, and influence change.

Are you right for this role?To be successful in this role you will have:

- Demonstrated advanced specialist knowledge, experience and clinical skills In one or more clinical informatic specialities
- Experience in advanced problem-solving and expert clinical judgement in relation to clinical informatics and clinical workflow design
- Demonstrated evidence and high-level judgement in advising and influencing senior management and other stakeholders in relation to Queensland Health's digital agenda.
- Ability to develop high-level communication skills to align OCCIO's clinical informatics team and influence culture.
- Demonstrated specialised level of knowledge and skills in complex, contemporary, clinical practice standards relating to clinical informatics and use of digital hospital systems.
- Ability to lead digital quality service improvement initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes within digital Hospital and Health Services.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and ability to negotiate change
