**About the Role**

As the Technical Officer, you will take charge of incorporating cutting-edge technologies and data-driven solutions to improve the effectiveness, sustainability, and overall quality of life in the smart city initiative. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Utilising data analysis methods, such as data visualization, interpretation, and data mining, to derive valuable insights from the data streams in the smart city program
- Utilising GIS tools for spatial data analysis, geospatial visualisation, and GIS software usage to enhance decision-making.
- Creating policy and architectural framework for the Internet of Things (IoT) development
- Investigating the potential and viability of incorporating artificial intelligence and machine learning into the operational processes
- Discovering possibilities for data storytelling by transforming intricate data into meaningful narratives that communicate insights to stakeholders and the community.

**About You**
- Proven experience in deployment of IoT related projects
- Proficiency in data analysis, data visualisation, data interpretation, and data mining techniques.
- Expertise in GIS, including spatial data analysis, GIS software usage, and geospatial visualisation
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
