SHCS is a dedicated provider of support services for individuals with disabilities, committed to enhancing the quality of life and promoting independence for our clients. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced NDIS Administrator to join our team.
**Position Overview**:
We're in search of a dedicated Administration Officer to bolster our team in a Full-Time capacity. In this pivotal role, you'll bridge the gap between service design and delivery, ensuring seamless support under the NDIS umbrella. Your contributions will be instrumental in orchestrating support workers, managing schedules, and upholding our hallmark of excellence in service provision.
**Responsibilities**:
- Undertake administrative duties encompassing scheduling, roster management, case documentation, audits, timesheets, data entry, and correspondence.
- Coordinating and scheduling appointments and services for NDIS participants.
- Handling phone-based inquiries and providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in our system.
- Liaising with NDIS participants, their families, and service providers.
- Assisting with the preparation of reports and documentation as required.
- Providing administrative support to the NDIS team as needed.
- Be available for on-call administrative duties and field support as needed.
**Requirements**:
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a similar role or in disability support is essential.
- **Computer Literacy**: Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent phone-based communication skills.
- **Transportation**: Must have a valid driver’s license and own a vehicle.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- **Customer Service**: A compassionate and client-focused approach to service delivery
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Cert III in Disability Support, Operations Management, or Business Administration preferred.
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance and Working With Children Check.
- Current Australian Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
