Seamless Industrial Solutions experienced team have worked within the industry for over 25 years. We have managed a range of projects across Australia and overseas including warehousing, commercial building, stadiums, bridges, vessels, mining equipment, heavy machinery, pipes, trailers and more.

We are seeking motivated and experienced PAINTING TRADES PERSON to join our friendly Professional Team located in New Chum, Queensland

Reporting to the supervisor, key areas of responsibility include:

- Read blueprints/instructions, examine, and understand surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
- Make work preparation such as scaffolding, covering fixtures
- Be able to understand and complete works to specifications.
- Be able to mix correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc.
- Proper appropriation of consumables and materials to avoid wastage
- Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers.
- Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness.
- Able to carry out minor repairs as and when deemed necessary
- Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Erecting scaffolding and ladders.
- Cleaning equipment and work areas.
- Support other team members to ensure completion of projects are on-time and in accordance to specification.

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

- Trade Certificate -Certificate III in Surface Preparation or equivalent (for Blaster/Painters)
- High Risk Licence for EWP and/or Forklift
- Trade Qualifications in Protective Coatings (ACA, NACE, ICorr, or other trade certs)
- HR licence, high risk licence with EWP and Forklift
- Drivers Licence (MR or HR class)
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
- Must have great work ethics
