**The Role**

The purpose of Service Assurance & Optimisation is to drive step-change maturity improvements and empower Managed Services teams to deliver efficient and effective services that meets our customer’s expectations.

The “Service Transition Manager” has overall project ownership of onboarding new customers and services into Managed Services operations following established Transition frameworks and guidelines. The Service Transition Manager also works in partnership with Project / Practice Managers / Stream Owners to ensure that the delivery of projects have a smooth transition path into operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure a smooth Transitioning-in to Managed Services in a planned and structured manner, demonstrating a high degree of professionalism and Service Delivery focus.
- Manages risks & issues and publishing weekly status reports to all key stakeholders.
- Activates all relevant services and systems in according to customer SLAs
- Ensures that Knowledgebase platform becomes a living body of knowledge used for daily operations and customer collaboration.
- Ensures a high degree of customer confidence and satisfaction resulting in the opportunity for more work.

**What skills and experience you bring**:

- Possess in depth technical knowledge in ITSM and Infrastructure Management.
- Minimum 10 years’ management and leadership experience with a successful track record of delivering complex IT infrastructure projects.
- Experience working in virtual teams across international time zones.
- Exceptional customer service.
- Excellent standard of written and spoken English with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders directly.
- Advanced report writing skills.
- Strong Business Analysis skills
