**About you**
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Manager to confidently lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic partnerships and projects to support the achievement of organisational objectives.
**Experience**
- Developing partnership and supplier relationships with corporate, government and Not-for-Profit organisations including demonstrated experience of formalising these into contractual agreements.
- Leading contract negotiations and procurement.
- Managing complex contracts including evaluating and monitoring these contracts.
- End-to-end project management of programs with diverse stakeholders and competing needs.
- Leading teams and managing staff.
- Leading the preparation of Ministerial briefs and a range of presentations, reports and project collateral.
- Disaster management, with knowledge of recovery operations (desirable)
- Experience working with the Not-For-Profit sector (desirable).

- Strong contract management experience including negotiating, developing and implementing contracts.

- Passion for supporting the communities of NSW.
- A commitment to working from an approved NSW Reconstruction Authority office at least two days a week.
**About the role**
As a Senior Manager within the Recovery Operations and Partnerships branch, you will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of partner and supplier contracts, as well as complex projects, to achieve project outcomes and support organizational objectives.
**Key responsibilities**
- Lead the engagement of government and non-government organisations to deliver critical recovery-based operations within disaster-impacted regions.
- Lead the development and management of informal and formal relationships with government, corporate and NFP organisations including negotiating contracts and agreements in relation to services provided by these organisations.
- Lead consultation with both internal and external stakeholders across varying priorities.
- Contribute to procurement needs of the RA and lead the implementation of key supplier contracts to support disaster recovery needs.
- Lead the preparation of advice and briefs for relevant Ministers.
- Develop project management processes that will support the objectives of the Recovery Operations and Partnership function.
**About the Agency**
The NSW Reconstruction Authority (RA), a statutory corporation within Planning & Environment cluster of the NSW Government, was established to proactively reduce the impact of future disasters across NSW and to help communities recover from them faster.
We will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses, and all levels of government to reduce the impact natural disasters have on our lives.
When disasters occur, our staff will work closely with emergency services and community leaders to understand what local communities will need to recover. Once the immediate threat has eased, we will lead recovery efforts in collaboration with community leaders and other recovery partners.
